James Stephens played with the gale force winds in the first half and led by 0-14 at half time, thanks to 5 points each from Eoin Mc Cormack and Eoin Larkin. An early goal after half time gave Rossa hope but great defending held them scoreless for the last 15 minutes, qualifying James Stephens for the final on St. Patricks Day
